I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate in Karen Gleason’s group at Chemical Engineering with a joint appointment in Gareth McKinley’s group at Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Prior to joining MIT, I was a postdoctoral fellow in Samuel Graham’s group at the Georgia Institute of Technology where I obtained my PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science. I received my BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2004 and 2006, respectively.

Between my Master and PhD studies, I was CEO and Founder of a compressed natural gas (CNG) company.
